About Palghat Lions School
Welcome to Palghat Lions School.
The School was started as the first English Medium School in 1952 by a Private body of educationally minded citizens of Palakkad.
In October 1961, the Lions Club of Palghat took over the management of the school when Dr. A. K. Haridas was the President, Dr. T. K. Kesavan Nair, Vice President and Prof. Panchanathan N.S, Educational Committee Chairman. It was renamed Lions Nursery and Preparatory School.A fund raising initiative was launched with a dance recital by Cine star Ms. Jayalaitha to collect funds to start construction of the new school building.
